Drivers: 

If a Driver cancels a booking more than 48 hours before pick up they will not be charged a cancellation fee and will receive a full refund for their booking.

If a Driver cancels a booking less than 48 hours before pick-up they will receive a 50% refund for the first 3 days of the rental and a full refund for the remaining days. The owner will be compensated 70% of the funds not refunded due to any inconvenience that may have been caused.

Owners:

If an Owner cancels a booking more than 48 hours before pick-up they will not be charged a cancellation fee. 

If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before pick-up they will be charged a cancellation fee of £50. Hiyacar will retain £25 to cover administrative costs, and the remainder of the fee will be issued to the Driver as credits on their account. 

If a booking is cancelled by the owner or driver within 30 minutes of the booking being confirmed, no cancellation fees will apply. 

All cancellation fees will be applied upon hiyacar's discretion.

Administrative Cancellations:

On occasion, it may be necessary for hiyacar to carry out a booking cancellation. These cancellations and any associated fines are assessed on a case by case basis.
