If you return a car and find that the designated parking bay is occupied by another vehicle, follow the steps below to ensure a smooth return process:
General Procedure for All Locations
Inform Us on Live Chat: Immediately notify us via our Live Chat service. This helps us track the situation and assist you promptly.
Take a Photo: Capture a clear photo of the vehicle that is occupying the bay. Make sure the vehicle registration mark (VRM) is clearly visible in the photo. This documentation is crucial for us to address the issue with the authorities.
Location-Specific Instructions
Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest
Park in a Nearby Resident (Permit Holder) Bay:
Look for the nearest resident permit holder bay and park there.
Important: Avoid parking in business bays, EV charging bays, or on double yellow lines. You will be responsible for any Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) if you park incorrectly.
Complete the Drop-Off Process: Proceed with the usual drop-off process once you’ve parked the vehicle.
Swale & Central Bedfordshire
Park in the Closest Available Space in the Car Park:
Find the nearest available parking space within the same car park and park the vehicle there.
Complete the Drop-Off Process: As with other locations, follow the standard drop-off procedure after parking.
Important Reminders
No Double Yellow Lines or Red Routes: Even if the car club bay is unavailable, do not park on double yellow lines or red routes. These are illegal parking areas, and you may be fined.
Unsure About Parking Restrictions?: If you're uncertain about the parking restrictions where you’ve left the car, please contact our team. We're here to help and will gladly support you.
By following these steps, you can ensure that the vehicle is safely and properly returned, even when the designated bay is occupied. Thank you for your cooperation!
