Payment is pre-authorised when a booking is made and taken from the Driver when the car Owner confirms a booking request.
If a request is declined or expires then the pre-authorised payment will be released immediately on our end. Depending on which bank you are with it could take at least 24hours for the funds to re-appear in your account.
HiyaCar will pay the car Owner on the Monday after the rental is successfully completed. This means that if your car is returned to you on Saturday then you will be paid on Monday.
NOTE: Over the coming weeks we will be implementing some changes to the way payments are made. Rather than being paid manually every Monday, you will now be paid automatically - you can expect the funds to reach your account 5 working days after a booking ends. This new process is being introduced in stages so you may not be affected by these changes immediately.
