Cars
For your car to be listed on our platform it must meet the following criteria:
it must be under 15 years old
it can only be up to insurance group 31
have a current value of under £40,000
it can have a maximum of 7 seats
This allows us to facilitate the majority of cars apart from commercial vehicles such as vans, classic cars and super cars.
Morever, we have identified a group of cars with low marketability due to our insurance costs, therefore cars that are:
Make: BMW, Mercedez-Benz, Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover
AND Insurance group >= 18
AND Fuel type : Petrol, Diesel
AND Body type: 5 door hatchback, 4 door saloon, sports
Will not be listable on Hiyacar.
Cat N/S cars are also fine as long as:
They have been repaired correctly
The vehicle is registered as such with the DVLA
Where applicable an MOT has been issued
Vans
For your van to be listed on our platform it must meet the following criteria:
it must be under 20 years old
it can only be up to insurance group 20
have a current value of under £40,000
have a weight of no more than 3.5 tonnes
it can have a maximum of 5 seats
