Drivers are responsible for returning the car in the same condition that they received it in. This includes the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the car. 

The pick up and drop off process allows the driver to take before and after pictures to confirm your cars condition. As an owner, you are responsible for ensuring the driver does so each time your car is hired out.

If your car is returned dirty, you must report it to hiyacar within 24 hours of the rental end time and the hirer will be liable to pay for cleaning costs as per our Additional Charges Policy.

To submit your claim you need to login to your account via the web and go to My Bookings. Click on the booking and you will find a ‘Need to make a claim?’ link at the bottom. 

Please fill out all of the information required and it will be assessed by our claims team within 5 working days. We will then be in touch with an update on the proceedings of your claim.
